Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Dr ZK Academy website or enrolling in any of our programmes. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Dr ZK Academy website (drzkacademy.com) or enrolling in any programme, workshop, or service offered by Dr ZK Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

2. Nature of Services

Dr ZK Academy provides educational services to International Medical Graduates (IMGs) preparing for the MCCQE1. Our services include:

  • Live online domain-specific workshop series
  • Full-length mock examinations with detailed explanations
  • Personalised study plans
  • One-on-one mentorship sessions
  • Self-paced online learning resources (via ZK Online Academy on Teachable)
  • Residency application support (when available)

All services are provided for educational purposes only. Dr ZK Academy is an independent educational provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) or any provincial regulatory authority.

3. No Affiliation with the MCC

Dr ZK Academy is an independent private educational institution. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with the Medical Council of Canada. MCCQE1® is a registered trademark of the Medical Council of Canada.

4. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Dr ZK Academy — including but not limited to workshop materials, mock examination questions, study plans, presentations, videos, and written content — is the exclusive intellectual property of Dr ZK Academy and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not, without prior written permission from Dr ZK Academy:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any course materials or examination questions.
  • Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to any Dr ZK Academy content to third parties.
  • Record workshop sessions without explicit written consent.
  • Use our content for commercial purposes.

5. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or contacting us.
  • Use our services solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of Dr ZK Academy and fellow students.
  • Engage respectfully with instructors and other members of the community.

6. Limitation of Liability

Dr ZK Academy provides educational content and preparation resources in good faith. However, we make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding:

  • Examination outcomes, pass rates, or scores on the MCCQE1 or any other assessment.
  • Success in obtaining Canadian medical licensure or residency placement.
  • The accuracy or completeness of all content, which is subject to ongoing updates by the MCC.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dr ZK Academy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services.

7. Modifications to Services

Dr ZK Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, programme, or content at any time, with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
